What is a prediction market?
A prediction market is an exchange where participants trade shares based on the probability of future events occurring. Winning shares resolve to $1.00 (100¢), and losing shares resolve to $0.00 (0¢).
How do market probabilities work?
Every market price reflects the aggregated community consensus probability. A share trading at 51¢ represents an implied 51% probability of that event outcome happening.
How are predictions resolved?
Outcomes are verified and resolved transparently using verifiable decentralized oracle networks (including UMA Optimistic Oracle) and primary source resolution data.
